European Blockchain Convention
When: June 26-28, 2022
Where: Barcelona, Spain
A confluence of industry leaders in blockchain, crypto, DeFi, and NFTs are coming together for a series of talks at the Hotel Hyatt Regency in Barcelona during the European Blockchain Convention. Among the 100+ speakers set to take the stage during this conference is Meta’s Engineering Manager for NFTs Matteo Melani, NFT Director for Misa.art Anna Graf, Swedish president Johanna Thörnblad, Innovation Director for FC Barcelona Albert Mundet, and more.
NFT RIO
When: June 30 – July 3, 2022
Where: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
This free art exhibition will be the first of its kind in Brazil, as it will focus on the burgeoning NFT art scene. The exhibition will take place at the art school and museum Parque Lage. Here, guests can opt to purchase tickets to gain access to NFT Rio’s paid events including talks, workshops, and pitches aimed at Web3 veterans and beginners alike.
NFT enthusiasts in attendance will also be able to view part of Cozomo de’ Medici’s $17 million NFT collection. In addition to this, art from Carlos Marcial and Justin Aversano will be displayed during the exhibition.
Blockchain Futurist Conference
When: August 9-10, 2022
Where: Toronto, Canada
Headlined by Ethereum founder himself Vitalik Buterin, this two-day event is slated to feature some of the biggest advocates for Web3 technologies. Among the speakers at the Blockchain Futurist Conference is TIME president Keith Grossman, who has used the legacy magazine as a platform to educate its readership on emerging Web3 technologies.
NFT SHOW EUROPE
When: September 17-18, 2022
Where: Valencia, Spain
Later this September, NFT creators, collectors, and blockchain experts will come together in Valencia, Spain in an event that’s “set to become the leading European meeting point” for all things NFTs. Through NFT SHOW EUROPE’s two planned days of activities, creators such as Zancan, Kim Asendorf, and Sam Tsao, among others, are set to have their work featured at the event’s exhibit. Aside from that, the event will also feature panels from Soliman López, VNCCII, and Meta Mori.
TOKEN2049 Singapore
When: September 28-29, 2022
Where: Marina Bay Sands, Singapore
Billed as Asia’s premier crypto event, TOKEN2049 Singapore is slated to bring together the brightest minds of Web3 in the far east. Along with panels from speakers such as Do Kwon, Polygon co-founder Sandeep Nailwal, and Ava Labs CEO Emin Gün Sirer, the event is also set to offer its guests the chance to participate in workshops, meetups, and hackathons.
TOKEN2049 Europe
When: November 9-10, 2022
Where: London, England
TOKEN2049 Europe is being billed as Europe’s premier crypto event. Set to take place at Magazine London this November, the conference will be headlined by speakers including pplpleasr, Tezos co-founder Kathleen Breitman, and Axie Infinity co-founder Aleksander Leonard Larsen. As with TOKEN2049 Singapore, this iteration of the conference is also set to give guests plenty of opportunities to network, connect, and collaborate.
